NuWave Marine was founded by longtime boating professional Ken Borrelli—an industry veteran dedicated to helping boaters find the right parts, boats, and service without the hassle. We’re not a faceless online seller or a drop-ship operation. We operate a full-service retail location, stock thousands of products in-house, and have experienced team members ready to answer the phone when you call.

Our Story
1987
Ken opened a small marine repair shop in Berlin, NJ under the name New Wave Marine, focused on quality craftsmanship, honest guidance, and personal service.

1992
Continued growth led to a move into a larger Deptford, NJ facility, where retail sales were added alongside the service operation.
2008
NuWave Marine entered the online marketplace through eBay, initially selling used shop parts before expanding into new components and MerCruiser engine packages. E-commerce demand quickly became a major driver of the business.
2012
The launch of MercExhaust.com marked our first dedicated online store, followed by several niche boating sites that were later unified under NuWaveMarine.com.
2015
Our flagship retail store and service center opened in Woodbury Heights, NJ, becoming home to our headquarters and growing e-commerce team.
2019
NuWave Marine became a Wellcraft Boats dealer and earned platinum-level status with Mercury Marine, establishing itself as the largest single-location Mercury Marine dealer in the United States.
2020
Our lineup expanded to include Glastron and Lund boats.
2021
NuWave Marine earned a spot on the INC 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.
2024
We expanded our dealership operations and inventory, adding Four Winns, Aquasport, and Twin Vee boats, along with Sealion and Load Rite trailers—plus a rotating selection of quality pre-owned vessels.
